I had a similar problem.
go to you system settings and go to memory and when it says HHD press X X LB RB XX and it will delete all screwed up files. But you need to refresh your xbox by reseting it then check the files and then try. If it doesnt work then i have no clue.I cant connect to some games on xbox live y?

I have the exact same problem. Where I live now, all they have is DSL, which lags like no other. So you most likely have the same problem as me. And as face as the wired or wireless connection, wired connections are always a bit stronger.
