Is 3 Gigabytes of internet Data enough for playing games on xbox live?

Hi all



I recently bough me a 360 60gb,(much better,and funner than my ps3)

I am about to get an internet connection with a 3gb data cap

will that be enough to play games on xbox live.

and how much is a live membership cost?

I can use Halo 3 as an example. On most multiplayer games there are game hosts and everyone else links to them. If you are the person hosting the game you may use 50-60MB per hour. If you are the person linked to the host, then you would use around 10-15MB per hour.

There are other things you can download off the marketplace dashboard on xbox live, but it gives the space requirement so you'll be able to keep track that way as well for those items.

Xbox live is not compatible with satellite internet, if that is what you are getting.
